Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (adjust for texture)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch sea salt
Optional Toppings
  • Fresh raspberries or strawberries
  • Cacao nibs or shaved dark chocolate
  • Coconut whipped cream or crushed pistachios

Method
 

  1. Blend: Combine all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender.
  2. Adjust: Add a touch more almond milk if needed to reach a creamy, mousse-like consistency.
  3. Chill: Spoon into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  4. Serve: Top with berries, cacao nibs, or a dollop of coconut cream just before serving.

Notes

Optional Add-Ons

  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom for warming depth.
  • Include a small scoop of collagen or plant-based protein for added nourishment.
  • Drizzle with melted dark chocolate for a special touch.
