Meet Dr. Antonia Balfour, L.Ac., DTCM, Dipl. Ac., Dipl. CH
“I’m a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, and herbalist with over 25 years of clinical experience. For much of my career I specialized in dermatology – but my own journey with cancer reshaped the way I work and the purpose behind this site.”
Antonia holds a Doctorate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University and a Master’s degree with highest honors in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University. She is a California-licensed acupuncturist and a National Diplomate in acupuncture and Chinese herbology, board-certified through the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). Antonia has been in private practice in Pacific Palisades for 25 years, and co-founded Oasis Palisades in 2007. She served as the 2008-2009 President of the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce.
A Journey That Changed Everything
While I still draw on decades of clinical experience, it’s my personal story that most deeply informs the work I do here. Facing cancer has taught me about resilience, compassion, and the importance of integrative care.
